Discipleship Groups
Every week throughout the suburbs of Adelaide, multiple small groups meet to read the Bible, pray, worship and share in community and mission with one another. We call these small groups Discipleship Groups (or DG’s for short). Each is usually made up of between 10-15 people of all ages and backgrounds.
Our Discipleship Groups are the best way to become integrated in the CityLight community, support one another like family, and found ourselves in God’s word.
Our Discipleship groups currently meet in the evenings across these suburbs:

We are aware it can be difficult to meet others on a Sunday, therefore we have a few opportunities that you can become easily integrated into our church:
- Stay around after church for lunch – we encourage everyone to stick around after church on a Sunday, there’s usually an opportunity to go grab lunch in the community, take a picnic lunch to a local park, or enjoy a light lunch in the church hall.
- Get involved in a Discipleship Group.
- Come along to one of our social events for new members – this is an opportunity to meet others who are also new to the church over the past few months, as well as some of our long-standing attendees. Follow our Instagram or Facebook accounts for more details.
- Contact us – feel free to get in touch before you come so we can look out for you on the door.
Get connected
Slack is a messaging app we use for internal communications, announcements and keeping in touch. If you’re involved in a team, or are interested in becoming more involved with CityLight Church, please join our Slack.
Serve
Our first commandment from Christ is to love God, with all of our heart, soul and mind. Our second is to love others as we love ourselves.
Ministry is a wonderful opportunity to love one another, build our community, serve one another selflessly and glorify God.
